‘De Stove’ is a small, intimate and cosy restaurant, situated in a pedestrian street, 50m from the Market Square. This restaurant of confidence has been managed by the owners; Gino Van Brabant & Erica Travers for more than 20 years.

In the kitchen, Gino prepares, with professional knowledge, the most delicious meals with the best regional products. Fresh fish from the North Sea such as sole, codfish, turbot and grey shrimps are supplied daily from Zeebrugge and tastefully served. During the summer , light meat courses are served like lamb and fillet mignon, which are replaced in winter by game dishes, such as pheasant, wild boar and venison.

 Erica takes care of the service and loves to create desserts, home made biscuits and bread.

The winelist contains a lot of classical French wines but also discoveries from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Chili, Argentina, Australia South Africa etc. There is also a large selection of spirits, including malt whisky.
